I Like Saturdays!

I like Saturdays because Papa and Mama always brings me out!

This morning I heard Papa asking Mama if we want to go and have breakfast with the dinos. I was wondering what I dinos. Daddy drove the usual route towards Jurong, and not long after we arrive at this place called the Singapore Science Centre.

We had breakfast at MacDonald’s again! I like the scrambled eggs and muffins. Today Papa bought me a Happy Meal. I was more interested in the food then the toy. Hehe! Wow, the hotcakes were delicious and it tasted even better with maple syrup. Mama gave me hotcake and scrambled egg. It was a wonderful treat! I simply love it.

Papa got me a small cup and a small straw. Mama then poured some water into the cup. I finished the water in no time.

Papa! Mama! I can drink from the straw! Laughing

After breakfast Papa brought me around Science Centre and I saw a giant creature. Papa said it’s a dinosaur. It was so BIG and I was so afraid it came to get me. Hehe!

After lunch, Papa brought me to the playground. I had so much fun there. Papa also took some photos for me.

What a fun day! Laughing

How Do I Look?

It’s Labour Day today! After Kaley took her lunch, we took the car and went to Raffles City, having the intention of getting her some thermal wear for the Melbourne trip.

Kaley has started walking on her own about two weeks back, she had been requesting to be on her foot almost the whole time when we were at the mall. She enjoyed the space and of course the balloons. She got hold of two balloons and you should see her grin on her face.

As we were about to leave, she found Daddy’s sunglasses hanging over his T-shirt and decided to try it on.

How do I look? Cool

Papa, I want to put it on!

Papa, can I bring this along with me to Melbourne? Laughing

Breakfast at the Park

Zhihao woke up one weekend morning and decided to bring our little gal to the park for breakfast. So we dressed her up in her sun dress and set off. Kaley was so excited and ‘talked’ so much in her car.

When we reached West Coast Park, the car park in front of MacDonald’s were full. We had to make a round and parked on the other side of the park, a short distance from the restaurant. The place was just as crowded but we managed to find ourselves a table. Got Kaley a child seat where she sat and wait for Daddy to get us some breakfast. She kept telling me ‘mum mum’ ‘mum mum’. Not calling me but telling me that she was hungry and where’s the food.

She really enjoyed her breakfast and kept raising her index finger (that’s her way of saying ‘Good’).

T3

Decided to make a trip to T3 today, after all the fanfare, just to see for ourselves what the fuss was all about. Besides, Say Seng was coming back to Singapore, arriving at T3, so that was the perfect excuse to travel across the island.

The much hyped up shopping in the basement was a real disappointment for us the adults, but the fountain certainly caught Kaley’s attention!

Mother and daughter enjoying a walk in the vast expanse of the departure hall. This place is huge!

Kaley as always, enjoy large open spaces and in this respect, T3 doesn’t disappoint our girl. Nice indoor greenery too.

Dada on the phone… roman-tic baby watches on…

We finally met up with family at McDonalds, Kaley looks bored…

… but not if she finds herself a balloon! Thanks to grandpa, it was sweet victory!

Next stop… viewing gallery.

Kaley in deep thoughts looking at the planes?

What is it that she wants?

The balloon of course! The planes taking off were not as interesting.

We just got to show this, Kaley clowning around with her new hilarous funny face.

Breakfast at Sentosa II

Here we are making our way to the ‘Southernmost Point of Asia Continent’, as marketing speak here would have you believe.

Crossing the suspension bridge to the islet, Kaley looks nervous.

We made it to the top of the viewing deck, toothy grin says it all.

She doesn’t seems to have any fear of heights!

Papa, the human swing… whhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

We can’t make it to the highest point of Asia (Mount Everest) but we sure made it to the Southernmost point! Oops, isn’t Singapore an island? Even Sentosa is an island and not part of the continent. Pardon the satire…

Someone is feeling tired… ok, we will end the post here… it is nap time…

Breakfast at Sentosa

It is Saturday and here we are in Sentosa, Padawan Beach for breakfast. We decided to try something different for a change.

A customary pose by Kaley.

Our girl is warming up…

Now, she is warmed up!

Breakfast is served. Yummy…

After breakfast, it is activity time as Papa brings the girl to the waddling pool. This fountain-cum-waddling pool is a favourite of all kids at Padawan Beach.

Itchy finger finds its way into the water spout, without knowing the consequence…

… of water splashing on her face.

It was a new experience for Kaley. To be continued…

Kaley Turns One!

Yes! Kaley turns one on 11th Dec 07. However, we celebrated her birthday in advance on the 8th. We had a little party for her and invited some of our close friends and their small ones to celebrate her one mark. Kaley was so excited when she saw the balloons all decorated around the room.

Here’s Kaley with Kimberly.

Finally Kaley gets to blow her candle. She is all prepared as she had gone through a couple of birthdays before hers. Whenever she hears the birthday song, she will clap her hands and move her body.

Blowing the candles… she can’t quite do it yet!

Here is a shot with the grandparents…

… and one more shot with the grandparents…

… and one with the Great Grandfather!

Cake cutting time! Someone getting impatient… or hungry…

Alvin, Corrine and Boey Boy…

Jack, Joyce and their lovely nieces…

Lovely ladies again… and why is Hongyu smiling away?

Kaley checking out her new ride… looks like a while before she knows how to operate it!

Thanks to everyone who came to share our joy, we appreciate your gifts, your cheer and your company.
